Port Ann Wesleyan Church is located at 2856 Troxelville Road, Middleburg, along one side of Jack’s Mountain in Snyder County. It is between two smaller towns (Penns Creek and Troxelville).

Port Ann Wesleyan Church is in the Midd-West School District. The Mustangs have historically been a regional soccer powerhouse, and they still host district playoff games. The nearby town of Middleburg (the Snyder County seat) has an IGA Market grocery store, along with some fast-food options (Burger King, Subway, Dunkin). This is the town where the Midd-West school complex is located. There are a number of other local businesses here. Another local town in an opposite direction that has a number resources is Mifflinburg, in Union County. The town is home to Mifflinburg School District, a Buggy Museum, Weis Markets grocery store, various gas stations, restaurants and downtown shops. Every December, the town hosts a locally well-known Christkindl Market.

Just a few miles from the church is T&D Cats of the World. This animal refuge/rescue has a number of exotic big cats, bears and other cool creatures that can be viewed in a zoo-like atmosphere.

Another neat local feature that is just a few miles from the church is the 239-acre Walker Lake, owned and maintained by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. It offers boating and fishing opportunities, among other recreational activities.
